Why should you take this course?
The automation industry is a great field and offers rapid advancement for dedicated, self-starters....like you!
PLC programmers are highly paid and in great demand in the marketplace. Indeed.com shows the average salary for a Controls Engineer at $84,000 (that's $7,000 per month!) and notes that is a whopping 46% higher than the average salary.
If you are already in the automation field, but not a PLC programmer (Hardware Design, HMI Engineer, Electrician), adding PLC Programming to your resume will significantly increase your value and options.
If you work at one of the many facilities that have no one on staff capable of modifying existing PLC programs, once you learn to modify your company's PLC programs you will be indispensable. And significantly more valuable than your co-workers!
